AnomaAI Edge Quick Start
AnomaAI Edge analyzes video from your existing security cameras locally on your Windows PC. After setup, you can connect Edge Agent to your AnomaAI account, define cameras, and mark the areas on each camera image that should be analyzed.

Download AnomaAI for Windows
On your Windows PC, download the AnomaAI Edge installer.
Find the download link in the site header: Resources → AnomaAI for Windows.
Click Download AnomaAI for Windows.
- Installer file: AnomaAIEdgeSetup.exe
When the download finishes, run the installer.

Install AnomaAI Edge
Open AnomaAIEdgeSetup.exe and follow the Windows setup steps.
When installation finishes, start AnomaAI Edge.
The first screen is Connect this computer — not a pairing-code field.

Sign in with your AnomaAI account
In your browser, sign in to the Customer Portal (anomaai.com) with your AnomaAI account.
Sign-in is required to confirm Connect this computer in the browser that Edge opens.

Pair Edge Agent with your account
Open AnomaAI Edge and choose Connect this computer.
Confirm the matching phrase in the browser, then Connect Computer.
Pairing code is fallback only: Settings → Edge Agent → Create fallback pairing code, then Use a pairing code instead in Edge.

- Fallback: Settings → Edge Agent → Create fallback pairing code
Do not share pairing codes. The main path is Connect this computer. After pairing, confirm Edge Agent shows Online / Connected.

Connect your cameras
After Edge Agent is linked, open Settings → Camera setup in the Customer Portal.
You can also follow camera steps from Setup Guide (Customer Portal → Edge setup).
Configure the cameras AnomaAI Edge will reach on the local network (this release includes a Hikvision RTSP walkthrough).
After saving, confirm on the Edge Agent page that cameras are connected and video can be received.
If video does not appear, check camera credentials, LAN connectivity, and that the Windows PC can reach the camera. Live RTSP testing is not available from the cloud form; verification happens when Edge is on the store network.

Define analysis regions on the camera image
Connecting a camera is not enough by itself. You can also define which parts of the image AnomaAI should analyze.
In camera configuration (regions), mark the areas you want analyzed on the camera image.
- Store entrance
- Checkout area
- Warehouse door
- Loading / unloading area
- Shelf or product area
- Staff passage
- Vehicle entry / exit
Limiting regions to where events happen reduces unnecessary analysis. Save the configuration after you mark regions.

Check Edge Agent and heartbeat
Open Settings → Edge Agent in the Customer Portal.
Confirm Edge Agent is Online / Connected.
Heartbeat means AnomaAI Edge on the Windows PC is regularly contacting AnomaAI Cloud.
- Confirm the Windows PC has internet access.
- Confirm AnomaAI Edge is running.
- Confirm Edge Agent is paired to the correct account.
- Confirm Windows Firewall or corporate network is not blocking the connection.

Confirm setup is complete
When setup succeeds, the checks below should be complete.
After that, AnomaAI Edge is ready to analyze video from your camera system.
- ✓ AnomaAI Edge installed on the Windows PC
- ✓ Signed in to Customer Portal with AnomaAI account
- ✓ Edge Agent paired with a pairing code
- ✓ Edge Agent Online / Connected
- ✓ Cameras connected
- ✓ Camera video can be received
- ✓ Analysis regions defined on the camera image
- ✓ Heartbeat active
- ✓ Edge device visible in Customer Portal
